NFL beer collaborations score with football fans
From toasting a winning play to drowning the sorrows after a difficult loss, NFL beer collaborations score with football fans. Luckily this season, there are many beer options in the cooler.
A long time partner of the NFL, Bud Light has brought back its NFL cans. With a sponsorship going through 2022, Bud Light is making this season “for the fans.” The new designs feature team rally cries.
According to Andy Goeler, Vice President of Marketing Bud Light, “As a longtime partner of the NFL, Bud Light is excited to welcome fans back this season, recognizing that without them, both the NFL and Bud Light would not be what they are today. We know this season is going to be special and whether fans are cheering on their team at the stadium, bar or at home, Bud Light is excited to celebrate the big moments of the year, right by their side.”
While many people will grab a beer to toast their team, each package will feature How2Recycle labels. Cheering a team to victory can come with an important message beyond the game.

Many NFL teams and local breweries collaborate on special beers for the NFL season. From the couch to the stadium, these beers offer a unique sip for the biggest team fans.
From Elysian Brewing, Hawkitect Limited Edition American Wheat Ale is a different option from the bold IPA beers that fill the Elysian beer line-up. At just 5% ABV, it is a sessionable beer that will keep fans flying high all game long.
Elysian Brewing describes the beer as a “deceptively robust hoppy wheat ale.” Specifically, “the Hawkitect’s strategy is clear; strike with bright, punchy notes of pineapple, mango, and citrus while maintaining an easy-drinking swagger.”
Given that the Seahawks crowd is the loudest in the NFL, this beer will help quench a thirst after all that yelling as well as toast another victory. The Hawkitect is available in Washington state as well as Lumen Field. In addition, a portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to Plymouth Housing, which helps to eliminate homelessness.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers partnered with Coppertail Brewing Co, a locally owned Tampa Brewery. The Florida Special is described as “a crisp American Style Lager that pairs well with hot weather and championship caliber football.” The cans feature the classic Bucs colors.
Florida Special, the Bucs and Coppertail Brewing Co beer, will be available at Raymond James Stadium. In addition, it can be found at local Publix stores and select restaurants.
