When FOX premiered the innovative baking show, all ages were intrigued with solving the kitchen clues. Now, Crime Scene Kitchen Season 2 is back and everyone is wondering how the culinary competition will engage viewers yet again.

According to Deadline, FOX has renewed Crime Scene Kitchen Season 2. The announcement comes as several popular FOX culinary shows, like Hell’s Kitchen, have been renewed as well.

While there are many culinary and baking competitions across food television, FOX believes that this program is different. As Fox’s Head of Reality Rob Wade previously said, “It’s a truly original format with amazing baking creations, a brilliant play-along guessing game for the whole family, and Joel at the center of it all bringing hilarity at every turn. Just don’t watch it if you’re feeling hungry!”

One of the keys to this program was the quick wit from Joel McHale. While McHale might be a master behind the grill and an expert behind the bar, he was able to easily fit himself into the baking competition. Everyone was waiting to see what he would say next.

At the same time, the combination of Curtis Stone and Yolanda Gampp worked. While both chefs have different culinary backgrounds, they balanced the plated dessert with the outrageous decorative cakes.

While an exact premiere date or additional details on Crime Scene Kitchen Season 2 have yet to be revealed, it will be interesting to see how the new season evolves. Although the show’s premise will not change completely, there will need to be some twists to make viewers engaged. From more complicated desserts to more difficult clues, watching the bakers master the challenge is key to keeping viewers engaged.

At the same time, an element for the viewer to solve is key. With viewers trying to discover the sweet mystery alongside the bakers was key. Maybe adding some tips and tricks so that viewers can make some of the simpler desserts at home could have people watching and re-watching each episode.
