One of the most divisive pizza conversations can be fruit on pizza. Putting aside dessert pizzas, the combination of sweet flavors with savory ingredients can challenge the palate. With the new Mountain Dew Mango Rush, available exclusively at Little Caesars, cracks open a new pour on the flavor pairing.

Little Caesars continues to find creative ways to think outside of the pizza box. From the successful Pizza Puffs to the stuffed pretzel crust, these concepts are more than just tossing ideas in the oven. Each one takes a trend and gives it the unique “pizza pizza” flare.

By partnering with popular beverage brand to have the exclusive Mountain Dew Mango Rush available to guests, the Little Caesars understands that unique offerings drive customer engagement. From the Dew Nation running for that first sip to appreciating how beverages enhance the pizza experience, this collaboration continues to set some restaurants brands apart.

As Greg Hamilton, Chief Marketing Officer, Little Caesars explained, "We're excited to team up with Mountain Dew for the first time, especially given the success of Pepsi Pineapple and past flavor exclusives. Little Caesars customers seek out flavors to complement our fan-favorite offerings - which is why Mountain Dew Mango Rush is such a great fit.”

The Pepsi Pineapple had everyone talking in 2023. It was an instant hit, even with people who might not instantly gravitate to pineapple on pizza.

A mango, citrus forward beverage and pizza might not necessarily be the most obvious flavor combination. At the same time, many pizza ingredients would go well with the mango. From a spicy sausage to a bunch of peppers, there are numerous possibilities.

Additionally, it is smart for Mountain Dew to partner with Little Caesars. While the beverage brand has had a blast pairing its thirst-quenching flavor with tacos, caramel colas are not the only drink to serve with pizza. A fruity, tangy, and tropical beverage can take pizza in a whole new direction.

The Mountain Dew Mango Rush will hit restaurants starting on May 5. It will be available as a collectible16-ounce co-branded can. The offering will be available for a limited time, while supplies last.
