Urban Pantry brings food hall experience to Universal’s Aventura Hotel

Urban Pantry at Universal’s Aventura Hotel is about to solve the vacation food dilemma. Incorporating a food hall experience into Universal’s newest hotel ensures that everyone has a food choice that they love. No more vacation compromise. At this Universal restaurant, everyone will leave full and satisfied.
The newest hotel at Universal Orlando, the Aventura Hotel, looks to highlight modern architecture and food trends. While the hotel’s signature restaurant and bar, Bar 17 Bistro will offer spectacular rooftop views, impeccable craft cocktails and global cuisine, the hotel wanted to offer even more delicious food experiences. The addition of a food hall offers guests diverse food options without compromising on flavor.

According to the Universal Orlando blog, Urban Pantry will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. While the complete menus weren’t released, the food options include Roast Station, Pizza Station, Wok Station and Burger Station. While these dishes are quite approachable, the dishes are all made from scratch with the best ingredients.

While a few of these food options are relatable, the Roast Station sounds the most creative. This station is said to have lamb, prime rib, chicken, salmon and paella. Those options could have me eating a new meal every night of my stay. More importantly, the proteins can be paired with a variety of sides. Choices like quinoa, couscous and marbled potatoes give each meal great versatility.
One impressive aspect to this food hall is the beverage pairings with each station. The stations will have both a wine and beer pairings. The pairings will highlight both the style of cuisine and the flavors of the dishes. It will be interesting to see which beers and wines are chosen. With Florida having so many great local craft beers, I hope that some local breweries will be highlighted.
The only food not mentioned in the announcement was dessert. With all these delicious food stations, dessert can’t be overlooked. Maybe there will be a whole dessert station or maybe there is a special dessert option for each station. No meal is complete without a sweet ending.
