Hershey’s meets Reese’s, a sweet, forever candy mash-up
When Hershey’s meets Reese’s, the ultimate candy mash-up is now a sweet reality. This sweet candy love affair has fans cheering.
If you have ever dreamt about combining Hershey’s and Reese’s together, that confectionary dream is coming true. In a recent company announcement, the two brands have come together to create a new candy treat. This new candy is called Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar with Reese’s Pieces candy. The name might be a mouthful, but it is a mouthful of deliciousness.
Combining these two iconic candies is a smart choice for the brand. While both candies are delightful on their own, the candy mash-up makes for an epic bite. It is more than just chocolate and peanut butter flavors together. The textural component from the candy shell makes this new candy bar extremely craveable.
Hitting store shelves in November 2018, this candy bar will surely have fans clamoring for a bite. Whether people choose regular or king-size, I doubt that candy lovers will want to share.
Personally, I think that this candy bar has so much potential beyond just the sweet treat. I can imagine adding pieces to a milkshake for a decant treat. It could be interesting to see how this candy bar could be used in baked treats as well. With so many possibilities, I might have to buy a case of these Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar with Reese’s Pieces candy.

To celebrate the launch of this new candy bar, Hershey’s found the ultimate love match to celebrate this forever candy mash-up. Real life couple Jenny Ries and Craig Hirschey (pronounced like Reese and Hershey) recently got engaged. Knowing that the brands were merging into a lifelong partnership, they wanted to help this real life couple celebrate their lifelong commitment to each other.
This epically sweet engagement celebration was held in Hershey, Pennsylvania at Hershey’s Chocolate World, Hersheypark and The Hotel Hershey. From pictures with the mascots to special moments around the attractions, this engagement celebration was the envy of all candy fans.
Of course, the relationship between the candy brands and the couple won’t end with engagement photos. This sweet relationship will continue. Fans will have to check back to see the Hirschey/Ries wedding.
This sweet engagement surprise isn’t the first time that the Hershey brand has helped in an engagement. Remember the Kit Kat proposal earlier this year? It seems that candy can bring couples together.
Since candy brings people together, I wonder how the new Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar with Reese’s Pieces candy could connect people. Could a candy mash-up really bridge a divide? Maybe more sweet endings could be on the horizon. Couldn’t we all use a little sweet, happy news in our lives?
