According to Kellogg’s, the three Halloween inspired Pop-Tarts recipes are Zombie Eye Tart-Pops, Finger Freeze Milkshakes and Fang Sandwiches. While the names are perfect for the spooky season, the flavors will have everyone running to the kitchen. Although the titles are pun-tastic, both young and old Pop-Tarts fans will want to try all three recipes.

The first recipe, Zombie Eye Tart-Pops feature Frosted Cherry Pop-Tarts. It is a Pop-Tarts version of a cake pop. With a slightly sour surprise, these treats are perfect for a Halloween sweet table. According to the recipe, the sour comes from citrus acid.

For home cooks, I would recommend switching citrus acid for popping candies. Kids love popping candy and this candy is easily available. Plus, cake pop are super easy to make. Everyone can get involved with this fun recipe.

The second recipe, Finger Freeze Milkshakes are a fun, yet super easy, recipe. Truthfully, this recipe is similar to the cereal milkshakes that are very popular. Even if you don’t have candy fingers, this recipe can have some other Halloween twists. Add a little red syrup to the glass or even some candy eyeballs for a spooky twist.

Lastly, the Fang Sandwiches will surely be a huge treat for Halloween. Who doesn’t love a sandwich treat? This version uses the Pop-Tarts as the “bread,” vanilla icing as the middle and marshmallows as the fangs. The sandwich has a great visual, but it is pretty sweet. Still, I’m sure that the kids will want to devour a plate of them.

For Pop-Tarts fans in New York City, they can have a special Halloween inspired experience. In addition to trying all these recipes at the Kellogg’s NYC Café, the bravest fans can head to the “Crypt.” If fans survive these spooky experiences, they can try a sample of the new Pop-Tarts Bites.

The new Pop-Tarts Bites will hit store shelves in December. The new bites will taste just like original Pop-Tarts but they will be in smaller size bites. They will be able in Frosted Strawberry and Brown Sugar Cinnamon flavors.
