Nightmare King is Burger King’s nightmare inducing burger
Nightmare King is lurking at your local Burger King. Just in time for Halloween, this burger has been proven to give you nightmares.
Nightmare King, the new Burger King Halloween burger, is here just in time for the spooky season. While some people believe that eating too late at night can bring horrible nightmares, Burger King sought to prove that eating this Halloween burger is nightmare inducing. The study’s findings are truly terrifying.
According to Burger King, this Halloween burger features “¼ lb* of savory flame-grilled beef, a 100% white meat crispy chicken fillet, melted American cheese, thick cut bacon, creamy mayonnaise, and onions all assembled on a glazed green sesame seed bun.” Personally, a glazed green sesame seed bun is scary. I was always told that green buns were not meant to be eaten.
Truthfully, this gigantic burger could induce heartburn in addition to nightmares. The sandwich is gigantic. Combining a burger, chicken and bacon on a single bun is ginormous. It might take a heroic appetite to conquer this spooky sandwich.

As part of this Halloween burger launch, Burger King conducted a study with 100 participants who ate this burger before going to bed. According to the study, “incidence of nightmares increased by 3.5 times” after eating this burger before bedtime. Maybe it was the combination of meats, maybe it was the large calorie count before bedtime, or maybe it was that green bun.
The study is a fun promotion for this Halloween launch. Whether eating this burger truly brings nightmares can be debated. Maybe just don’t eat the burger before bedtime.
Nightmare King will be available starting on October 22. The cost will be approximately $6.29 and will be available while supplies last.
