Frito-Lay is always finding new ways to bring bold flavors to snack time. From its Smiles with Lay’s fan favorites coming back to taking a flavor trip across the country, snack time is never boring with Frito-Lay snacks.

With football season underway, snacks are flying off store shelves. Even if tailgating has turned into homegating, everyone has to have their snacks while cheering their favorite team to victory.

The three new Frito-Lay snacks are Tostitos Hint of Guac, Baked Ruffles Flamin’ Hot and Rold Gold No. 4 Zesty Buffalo.

For the new Tostitos Hint of Guac, this chip has a tangy flavor. There is a touch of guac flavor but the hint of spice makes it quite enjoyable. Before you know it, the bag might be empty.

If you pair these Tostitos with salsa, consider a smoky chipotle salsa. Those flavors play off the hint of guac. Also, these chips make for awesome nachos. If you are making an at home nacho bar, make sure there are two bags on hand.

Since many people can’t resist the Flamin’ Hot flavors, the new Baked Ruffles Flamin’ Hot brings a lighter bite paired with the extreme heat. With this version, the baked nature tames the heat a little. Still, these Ruffles are bold.

While these chips can be great with a dip, another option is to use these Ruffles as a topping on some mac and cheese, chicken or even corn. If you haven’t had sprinkled crumbled chips on corn or used them as a topping, you need to try it. Plus, it puts those extra chip crumbles at the bottom of the bag to good use.

Lastly, the Rold Gold No. 4 Zesty Buffalo pretzels are quite tasty. Although the Rold Gold No 5 might always be a favorite, the buffalo flavoring is a good complement to the classic pretzels. If you love a Buffalo chicken wing, these pretzels will become a favorite.
