Baja is back: Four MTN DEW Baja Beverages are here for summer
Summer fun is heating up and luckily there are four MTN DEW Baja Beverages to quench that impending thirst. While the Dew Nation has always picked Baja Blast as a top beverage, two new flavors might give the classic a run for its money. Traveling to the tropics never tasted so good.
To everyone’s delight, MTN DEW Baja Blast and MTN DEW Baja Blast Zero Sugar are back on shelves. The iconic beverage that pairs with Taco Bell, hamburgers and everything else will make summer more delightful.
While there is always a place for the classic Baja Blast, two additional flavors are joining it. The MTN DEW Baja Mango Gem brings the sweet, tropical mango flavor to the mix. While MTN DEW has embraced other melon flavors in the past, the mango brings a nuanced tropical sweetness.
In addition, the MTN DEW Baja Gold brings pineapple to the bottle. A little zesty yet still bringing that tropical vibe, this vibrant offering might quickly become a top choice. As pineapple continues to trend this summer, this new Baja beverage could become everyone’s favorite.
Although Baja Blast has always brought that cool breeze of beachy inspired refreshment, the addition of other tropical flavors is a welcome twist. Given that the DEW Nation can’t get enough of limited edition, special released flavors, these items will fly off store shelves. It will be interesting to see if the “twists” become as popular as the original.
What other beverages are joining the new MTN DEW Baja Beverages?
Sometimes that Baja Blast needs a little extra boost. Now, the MTN DEW Energy is bringing the fan favorite flavor into the energy drink conversation. The original flavor now has the added boost of citicoline and caffeine. For those wanting a bolder, energized sip, this beverage is an option.
According to Fabiola Torres, PepsiCo Energy GM, and CMO, “We know MTN DEW fans love BAJA BLAST and love energy drinks. This summer, for a limited time, fans can get the flavor they love, now with the added benefits of energy to get after whatever their day throws at them.”
The biggest thirst this summer with be for the Baja Deep Dive. For 18,000 people, that unreleased flavor will be the prize for the ultimate MTN DEW fan.
As Pat O’Toole, CMO, MTN DEW said, this summer needed to come with a surprise for the DEW Nation. “An unreleased Baja flavor to kick off the summer? I think that’s a surprise DEW Nation will be ready for and will want to get their hands on. I hope they’ll enjoy BAJA DEEP DIVE as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
