While many people are counting down to Halloween Horror Nights 31 and the Universal Holiday celebrations have just been announced, the Universal Passholder Appreciation Days 2022 have many people heading to the theme park to feast. With a wide array of specialty food items for the event, UOAP members are feeling the love.

A visit to Universal Orlando theme parks often comes with a treat or two. Beyond the thirst for a Butterbeer, there are a wide array of foods to be enjoyed. From the special offerings at the themed tribute store to the favorite restaurants both in the parks and in CityWalk, no one is ever left hungry.

For annual passholders, each visit comes with that “welcome home” vibe. Although the familiar is comforting, there is an excitement for something new. Sometimes that little hidden gem waiting to be discovered is worth some extra moments in the parks.

As Executive Chef Ron Cope at Universal Studios Florida said, “Our Passholders are considered each time we plan an event or a new menu. They inspire us to continue to reinvent ourselves, so we make sure we’re giving them a great experience every time they visit us. When Universal reopened [after our March 2020 closure], they were the ones who brought us back. We felt their support throughout it all and we want to show them how much it’s appreciated.”

Universal’s Islands of Adventure

Whether enjoyed after riding the impressive Velocicoaster or a bite to keep the hunger at bay later in the afternoon, the offerings at Universal’s Islands of Adventure have a wide range. From a touch of whimsy to a little exotic, there are plenty of choices.

The special menu includes Dan Dan Noodles at Confisco Grille, Brisket Grilled Cheese at Comic Strip Café, Willy Wallo Lasso at Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous, and Hummus Kawarma at Mythos Restaurant.

Universal Studios Florida

While many people love a stop at the Today Café or get a scoop at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour, Finnegan’s and Lombard’s Landing are often a top stop, too. After grabbing that beer or cocktail, why not try one of these special limited time menu options.

The Universal Passholder Appreciation Days 2022 special food items at Universal Studios are Crab Okonomiyaki at Lombard’s Landing and Maloney Stack at Finnegan’s.

Universal’s Volcano Bay

In the shadows of the volcano, many guests can get quite hungry. Beyond the tempting burgers, flatbreads and that always satisfying rainbow ice cream, this special menu item could quickly become a guest favorite. The Island Chicken Pancit Bowl at Wakawawai captures the island vibe in every bite.

CityWalk

While City Walk has so many food options, it can be hard to narrow it down to just one stop. Luckily, the Universal Passholder Appreciation Days 2022 food options have both savory and sweet options.

Some food choices include Mango Ginger Kiss at Voodoo Doughnut, Nutella Croissant Bread Pudding at Bigfire, Quesadilla Ahogada at Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food, a Mt. Fuji Roll at Cowfish, and more.

Universal Orlando Hotels

From Sapphire Falls to Royal Pacific, the chefs have several options. Both sweet treats, like the cookies at SweetWater Tavern and the Crab Rangoon at Royal Pacific capture the wanderlust of the hotel escape. Just like the theme park is immersive, so are the places that guests stay.

Universal Passholder Appreciation Days 2022 run from August 15 through September 30, 2022. More information on the special event can be found on the Universal Orlando website.
