Nickelodeon and its iconic, brightly colored slime is a kid favorite. While parents might remember Double Dare and the slime obstacles, kids see the green slime during the Kids’ Choice Awards. There is something about the green slime that appeals to the kid in everyone.

The Nickelodeon Slime Sauce isn’t anything that needs a big double dog dare for someone to eat it. The condiment is really colored ketchup. The color is just totally different from the traditional ketchup condiment.

This type of twist on ketchup could help kids get interested in food. While this particular sauce is just fun, it could spark a conversation with parents and kids. Sure, kids might love to put brightly colored sauce on a hamburger. Maybe, the kids would consider adding some brightly colored pesto to their pasta. It might not be slime, but it is also a cool color.

Playing with food isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Of course, parents don’t want kids making a mess at the dinner table, but kids need to learn that food can be fun. From having a say at the grocery store to helping to cook meals, getting kids involved with the food that they eat can expand their food likes. If a child is invested in the meal, they will be more likely to eat it.

While Nickelodeon Slime Sauce is a fun condiment, maybe kids might be willing to try something new because of it. For example, kids might not want an Impossible Burger, but with slime sauce that burger is a game changer. Or, maybe the kids don’t want fried zucchini, but they will eat it with slime sauce. Parents can use this colorful condiment to their food advantage.
