Need last minute Valentine’s Day gifts? Whether you forgot to order roses or that favorite restaurant was totally booked, February 14 isn’t totally ruined.

There are a few last minute ideas that can make the day turn around. After all, everyone needs to feel a little special on Valentine’s Day.

Even if those store shelves look a little bare, many coffee and donut shops have you covered. From Krispy Kreme to Tim Hortons, there are a plenty of heart shaped donuts around. In a way, those little donuts could be a life saver. Whether you get one donut or a dozen, it is great way to start the day.

Also, another easy idea are the perfectly pink coffees. Dunkin’ has the Pink Velvet Macchiato. The colorful, pink layered coffee makes for a great picture but the flavor is quite sweet. Still, the picture is definitely worth it.

If you prefer a little something less sweet to start the day, Chick-fil-A has those heart shaped biscuits for the day. Every day is a great day at Chick-fil-A.

Or, Pizza Hut has a heart shaped pizza. It might be hard to pass up the Mozzarella Popper Pizza, but who doesn’t smile when there is pizza on the table.

Truthfully, last minute Valentine’s Day gifts really are more about creativity. As McDonald’s proved, you can turn all types of menu items into a sweet gesture. From chicken nugget bouquets to French fry expressions, there are many ways to share a special gesture.

Even if you can’t find those Reese’s hearts or the Ferrero Rocher special package, it doesn’t mean that the whole day is lost. Sometimes making a dish or dessert shows that you are putting in the effort.
