As the countdown to Easter quickens, the Easter bunny and his helpers might be looking to finalize the goodies that will arrive on Sunday morning. While some Easter candy might be a tradition and others might prefer a non-food item or two, it can be difficult to make sense of all the options that can fill the space. Themed Easter Baskets might be the perfect solution.

Creating themed Easter baskets is not necessarily a difficult task. In reality, almost anything can become a theme. While these items are most often for kids, it seems unlikely a cocktail kit could be in the basket. Still, one idea should guide the concept. Knowing the person who is receiving that Easter basket is key.

For example, if the recipient cannot eat peanut butter, it might be best to avoid those always popular Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs. Or, if a person cannot get enough of the sweet, squishy PEEPS, those chicks better be front and center. Basically, a little thoughtfulness is key to the basket’s success.

Simple themed Easter baskets

Bunnies, bunnies and more bunnies

While the bunny might be hopping all around for the holiday, bunnies can fill the basket, too. Of course, the classic hollow bunny, like the Lindt Gold Bunny, is always a favorite. It does not matter if you eat the ears or the tail first. And, sometimes that hollow bunny can be filled with some liquid delights.

Reese’s has some smaller peanut butter and chocolate bunnies. The individual treats ensure that no one feels sorry for enjoying two or more.

Of course, PEEPS has plenty of bunny options in its Easter line-up. Whether people pick based on color or flavor, there are plenty of options.
